To comply with Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations 1997
Introduction
To assist employees to meet their obligation as laid down in The
Workplace Regulations. We have developed this course specifically
to train personnel as to what to do in the of a fire occurring
and how to select and use the correct extinguisher. Training
will be
arranged to incorporate the employers own fire routine.
Course Content
 Action to take in the event of a fire occurring
Select the correct
fire extinguisher and to tackle a small fire with confidence and
safety
Outcomes
By the end of the programme the delegate will
be able to:
- Appreciate their role within the employers’ fire
routine
- How to call the fire brigade
- Identify the different types of fire extinguisher and their
uses
- Correctly select and safely use the appropriate extinguisher
(achieved by use environmentally safe Fire Training Simulator)
Prior
Knowledge: No prior knowledge or training is required
Course Duration:
1 -2 hours (depending on requirements)
