FIRST AID FOR CHILDREN AND SCHOOLS

course has been specially structured to be suitable for new parents,
childcare workers or anyone dealing with young children
up to 8 years
of age. We will be taking a look at basic first aid principles
with special attention to choking and resuscitation of infants
and children.
For groups of 6 - 12, we can bring this course into
your home, schools or other convenient locations at a time that
best suits
you.
 Course Content
Upon successful completion of the course, participants
will be competent in recognising and dealing effectively with:
- emergency scene management control
- cardiopulmonary resuscitation
of infants and children
- shock, unconsciousness,
fainting, burns
- basic life support
- choking & airway management
- control of bleeding
- epilepsy and meningitis
