First Aid Appointed Person

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be competent in recognising and dealing effectively with:

• Update and maintenance of a first aid box
• Resuscitation skills
• Treatment of unconscious casualties and recovery position
• Heart attack - CPR and life support
• Choking and airway management
• Shock
• Communication and delegation in an emergency
• Control of bleeding

A general overview of the following topics is also given:

• Stroke
• Allergic reaction
• Burns and scalds
• Injuries to bones muscle and joints.

HSE approval is not required for this training.

£60.00 per person (minimum of 6 people, maximum of 12)
