RON
I have a Training background covering 36 years, and have been a member of the Armed Forces where my training skills were first developed. I worked in the Transport Industry as a Manager for several years and during this time further developed my training skills and in 1992 returned back to college to undertake 2 years of training, finishing with several training qualifications which I have used to the full since that time. National Vocational Training qualifications followed and my subject knowledge was expanded, in 1998 when I started training on a freelance basis and in 2005 formed UK-Safety with my wife Chris. I love working with people and feel my knowledge has been used to improve the lives of the people I have had the pleasure of training.

I have been involved in training since 1986 and initially taught Information Technology and Administration skills. Having run several satellite centers for training providers, health & safety had to be first on the agenda. As an NVQ Assessor visiting placement companies I had to ensure candidates were in a safe environment, often finding myself advising companies on risk assessments. I advanced my skills working with Warwickshire County Council and Warwickshire District Hospital. We decided that my skills in health & Safety would enhance our portfolio along with Food Hygiene and my Consultancy experience in the Health & Safety field to small companies
